Moving | May, 28, 2010

It is and exciting time here at Church Web Works. We are moving, we are almost ready for Version 5 Beta and we are growing.

This weekend we are set to move our offices to a new facility down the road from our current location in Renton, WA. What I have learned through this process is that we have the greatest team working here. Everyone has tossed in their time to help with the move but also volunteered to hang insulation one morning, sweep, clean and whatever it takes to get the job done right. It is fun for me as a leader to see the enthusiasm in our company and the excitement for this new stage of growth.

What this move means to our customers. Even though we are moving our phone lines for sales and tech support will operate as usual and our email system will see no disruption. If you are experiencing an issue please call 877-227-1091 and we will respond quickly.

Watch this blog in the next few weeks for updated pictures of our new facility and the announcements leading up to the launch of Version 5. Just a quick side note: V5 looks amazing, functions with ease and will change the way ministries work together. I can hardly wait to show our clients V5, the anticipation is almost killing me.

Dreams | Nov, 19, 2009

I LOVE to dream. I think this is the most exciting gift that God has blessed me with.

However, the most rewarding part of a dream is when it transitions to a mission. And that mission becomes a project. And that project turns to reality.

It is exhilarating to be around a team that is brave enough to dream with me and savors the moment when we can see our dreams become reality. Version 5 is on its way and you are going to be blown away by this dream.

Join our dream with us this Summer.

WOW!! | Nov, 12, 2009

Wow!! Our clients are the best.

A few months ago we put a submit your idea button on our control panel and hundreds of you sent us really great ways to improve our product. Some of the submissions were easy to implement, wheras others had us rubbing our heads in confusion as some of those ideas are already in our product?

I am proud to announce that over 90% of the ideas submitted are making an appearance in Version 5.0 of Church Web Works. Our team is hard at work to have the beta version of this software ready soon with the final due early in 2010. This software is a huge upgrade with new features, new designs and easier to use controls.

The part of this that makes me so happy is the encouraging words that many of you added to your ideas, they really do make a huge difference. I am always amazed at how just a few words like "keep up the good work" help us so much. We all need encouragement and I want to thank all of you for the great support you have show us over the past 8 years.

Enough of the mushy stuff and now onto the nuts and bolts. Version 5 is packed with new features, new designs, new interface, mobile apps, community apps and of course it is even easier to use with more power than ever before.  Keep following along on twitter, @churchwebworks, or this blog to find out our progress and how you can be involved in the beta testing.  I am confident that this system will change the way churches view their presence on the internet.

Support | Nov, 05, 2009

The most important part of our success is customer satisfaction. We have a month-to-month contract agreement, offer free technical support and have never raised our rates on our customers. This formula has kept us in business and continues to grow our customer base. There truly is no risk in becoming a customer of Church Web Works.

Leading this initiative are
Nathaniel Sundberg and Dan Cooper, and they have made it their primary mission to answer all of your questions.  Now for the fun part - check out their bios and videos on this site and so next time you call them you can feel like old friends.

Launch | Oct, 29, 2009

I am sooooooo excited about the launch of our new site. We have been working on it for a little while now and it has turned out beautifully. I want to thank Ed and Natalie for leading the design, Paul for rocking the programming, Bill for doing the Flash and Gabe for creating all of the amazing videos. Also we partnered with a great Ad agency Rusty George in Tacoma Washington, to provide us inspiration in design and messaging. They were wonderful to work with and gave us great insight into what we are as a company.

Check out the about us section and read about all of the great people who are here to serve you. Also please read this blog. I will be updating it often with new initiatives, ideas and software updates. We love your ideas and questions so please keep sending them in, you can fill out the form under the contact us page.

Thanks for all for you continued support and watch closely for new product announcements soon.

Partnerships | Oct, 15, 2009

It's funny how we work for so long trying to create partnerships with organizations, but lots of them don't work for a multitude of reasons. But on occasion a partnership works better than you ever imagined.

We have been working with the National Baptist USA organization for over 7 years and we have had an historically good relationship. Over the past year we decided to commit each organization to better the other one. That meant a huge commitment on our side for technology and support and on their side marketing and leadership support. But when both sides kept the focus on the betterment of the other organization. Partnership truly happened.

I wanted to take a moment to thank the NBCUSA leadership team for joining us on the this journey and the many churches that have supported both organizations in bridging the digital divide. I am excited and even invigorated to see what is next for our company and the NBCUSA in the coming months and years. Look for cool stuff soon!
